Week 3 Report

Headhunters FC     6   -   0     Pappadam FC
Headhunters, fresh from a loss with Eagles, came back this week with the aim to win. Just 5 minutes into the game, Fabian lets Headhunters take the lead with a goal. 20 minutes later, Celestine adds to the score sheet, all the way from his defending position. Seemingly helpless, Pappadam concedes their third goal 3 minutes later, with a goal by Rusy from the far right. Rusy then had another chance to score again after a brilliant pass by Fabian, but the shot went wide. Pappadam's Sandara then had a chance to get a goal 2 minutes into the second half, but the show went wide pass the net. Kevin then made a notable strike and shot, but it was blocked by the HH defenders. However, it was Headhunters who scored again, in the form of Fabian, whose dribbling and long shot hit the back of the net. 3 minutes later, a free kick outside the box was given to HH, and it was taken well by Avinash whose shot was deflected by the goal keeper and into the net. Julian then sealed the game with the 6th goal for HH from inside the penalty box.

Rivals FC    2   -   1     Kelkatu FC
Kelkatu definitely started the game fast, with a goal right after kick off, thanks to Tompoq who locked the ball pass the goal keeper and into the net. It was not long before Rivals equalized. 9 minutes later, Lingesh, assisted by Cipriano, goes one on one with Hafis and scores. Amirul then had chances to let Kelkatu take the lead again but the first half remained 1 all. In the 51st minute, Taha scores the winning goal for Rivals after chipping the ball into the top right of the net. 4 minutes later, a goal by Amirul was ruled off as a foul, much to Kelkatu's dismay.

Eagles FC     2   -   0     Galacticos FC
Galacticos started the game with good ball possession, but it was Eagles who did the striking, with the likes of Salim, Nadun, Kimu and Mmediong. In the 30th minute, a penalty kick was awarded to Eagles after a hand ball by defender Ralph inside the box.
