It’s the second match of match day 1, between Kelkatu and Headhunters. Kelkatu being the favorite to win this created the first chance of the game with a nice lob from Farouk to Amirul in the 2
nd minute the resulting shot bringing out the best from Kuda the goalkeeper. So far Kelkatu has all the ball possession with hafiz taking a shot which was far away from target. Headhunters were not out of the game though with JJ’s goal rightly disallowed. Suddenly, a nice lob from Avinash falls perfectly for Fabian who slots the ball home giving headhunters the lead. Kelkatu not affected by been one goal down equalized courtesy of a nice half volley from Amirul assisted by Greg. Headhunters had the chance to take the lead when a free-kick fell nicely for Nadun but he tried to be cheeky by chipping the goalkeeper. Having the lion’s share of possession for most of the half, Kelkatu finally took the lead In the 28
th minute through an amazing Zubair’s goal from 25 yards. In the second half it was the same as the first, with Kelkatu dominating possession. An ideal Kelkatu passing game play which produced a goal scoring opportunity that hit the post. Few minutes later a Farouk and Zubair combination produced a good to watch football that resulted in a goal scoring chance which Farouk grabbed with both hands. What a run!!! Tatenda(CB) not happy with the scoreline decided to take matters into his own hands running over 80 yards causing chaos in the Kelkatu defense but the finish not good enough.
