Its Saturday 19th March. Match day 1 of the Curtin league season 17. Between Machanz and Pappadam.With Marchanz without two key players (Raj and Lingesh). Most persons predicted that the match will go in Pappadam’s favour. But minutes later Steve took a long shot which was saved by the goalkeeper. Few minutes after that, Machanz drew first blood with a goal from a wonderful effort from Steve. Pappadam had some chances which they missed. But Machanz were enjoying themselves scoring another goal courtesy of Rajiv in the 13th minute. Pappadam made changes but it wasn’t good enough to stop Rajiv from scoring his second and Machanz's third just before half time. In the second half Pappadam looked revived. And in the fifth minute Thiago took an awesome shot from 25 yards which flew straight into the top corner, giving Pappadam a goal back, both sides created chances, tempers rose, substitutions were made but the scoreline remained the same.
It ended Machanz 3 Pappadam 1.
