Desert Storm Vs Putra FC
This was was the most open game of week 1. Early in the first half, Desert Storm took the lead when Rashed took a nice shot that coupled with poor goalkeeping, letting the ball fall nicely for Tyson and he scored. Few minutes later Desert Storm won a free-kick in a promising area and the resulting free-kick along with little help from the goalkeeper gave Desert Storm their second goal courtesy of Juma. Putra also made chances but could not convert them to goals. Desert Storm came into the second half hungry for more goals and they got it few minutes later from a very nice shot from Abdi from 25 yards that flew straight into the right top corner. Putra had some descent chances with shots from Ming Jie and Ryan but both went wide. Rashed then put icing on Desert Storm's cake with a their fourth and his first of the season.
