Review: Galacticos 0 Eagles FC 0
The first game of the league kicked off with a match between Galacticos and Eagles, who were unfortunately disqualified from the league last semester due to a dispute. Galacticos had more possession of the ball for most of the first half and JJ, a new installment for the team, had a shot that went wide in the 25th minute. Five minutes later, Amate tried but it was Salim’s free kick that missed a goal by just a few inches when it went slightly over the post. Shortly into the second half, yellow cards were issued to PK and Fejiro after having a dual struggle and also Galacticos’ captain Ralph for unneeded argument with the referee. Michael Owan had a really close on-target shot but it was saved by last semester’s best GK, Joel. Celestine was awarded Man of the Match for his brilliant defending once again.Prepared by Abby for CFC Bulletin
